Aimee Teegarden knows what she’s doing

Aimee Teegarden is on Friday Night Lights and she had a short stint on the 90210 reboot.

Suffice to say, no one really knows who she is. Until now. Or I mean until after Halloween of 2009 when she put up these pictures of her costume which I hadn’t seen until today. But now she’ll be a big star. You just watch!

"We were scouting new location bases and were courted by the other states' film commissions, but eventually the network and the appropriate people in Texas settled things. I can't provide specifics, but it worked out so we could remain here."

And what did Aimee Teegarden get out of this?

"I got a new apartment in Austin," replies the Southern California native. "There was no reason to keep my original place when I heard we might move to New Mexico or Arizona."

Teegarden celebrates her milestone 18th birthday on October 10, five days after the launch of Friday Night Lights' second season. We're glad she and her cast mates remain in Texas as they film the series.

Body art?

Working at Applebee's with Tyra? A new boyfriend (who's also her old boyfriend)? That's just some of what Aimee Teegarden says is in store for her Friday Night Lights alter ego, Julie Taylor, in Season 3.

Teegarden’s television appearances

Teegarden’s television appearances include the recurring role of Rhonda Kimble on "90210," as well as guest appearances on "Cold Case," Nickelodeon’s "Ned’s Declassified Survival Guide" and Disney Channel’s "Hannah Montana."

Most recently, Teegarden produced her first feature film, "Beautiful Wave," a coming of age film set in the surf community of Southern California. Some of her other feature credits include, "For Sale By Owner," with Skeet Ulrich and Rachel Nichols, the family drama "Call of the Wild," with Christopher Lloyd, and "The Perfect Age for Rock N Roll" produced by Spike Lee and Mike Ellis.

In addition to acting and modeling, Teegarden enjoys surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, boxing and hanging out with the love of her life, her dog Gizmo.
