America and the rest of the world may be facing a recession but it appears that nobody told US underwear label Victoria's Secret.

At its show in Miami, 35 supermodels took part in a fabulously opulent extravaganza, with most of them dripping in feathers, lace, sequins and eye-wateringly expensive jewellery.

Heidi Klum wore red underwear joined by a web of diamonds plus sparkling red wings, made to resemble a bow on a present, while Adriana Lima coolly strutted down the catwalk in the Black Diamond Fantasy Miracle Bra - worth $5million.

And now Klum says that the title is certainly a major step forward.

"It felt great, especially after having three children. It's brilliant for all mums because women sometimes worry whether they can still be sexy after having kids or how they're going to be perceived by people for being a mum," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

"I had employers who thought if I had a child I wouldn't fit in the sexiest women category any more. But I think it's different these days," she added.

three children. The supermodel said that she was amazed because she managed to beat many young models, despite having three kids.

The 35-year-old has left behind the likes of Brazilian babes Gisele Bundchen and Adriana Lima, and has landed at the top position on the Models.com list last month. The German catwalk queen has a three-year-old daughter, Helene, with ex-boyfriend and Formula 1 ace Flavio Briatore, and two sons, Henry and Johan, with her husband Seal.

The German supermodel often longs for chocolate cake from her homeland, but has discovered a secret weapon to curb her desires. She is quoted as saying: "I love chocolate. I have a chocolate lip gloss that tastes like a German chocolate cake. It is very good. It tastes so good that I constantly have to lick my lipstick off and re-apply."

Heidi isn't the only supermodel who has confessed to secret cravings. Last year, Milla Jovovich revealed she embarked on a desperate search for bone marrow when she was pregnant with her daughter Ever Gabo.

The Ukrainian-born beauty said: "I was craving bone marrow one day, and I scoured the whole of Paris searching for the leg of a cow. When I finally found what I was looking for, I cut it in half, digging out the yellowish substance, slathering it all over bread."

Heidi Klum continued her long and standout association with Victoria's Secret at Victoria's Secret fantasy extravaganza themed - Return to Glamour - on Saturday, November 15, at the newly refurbished Fontaineblue Miami Beach hotel in Miami.

The 35-year-old German-American model, actress and TV presenter strutted an evening gown of hand printed silk, tulle and duchess satin, decorated with red roses.

For the finale, she strode the catwalk in a red bra, underwear and sparkling, red wings, which were made to resemble a bow on a present.

The 35-year-old strips to her underwear and performs a spoof of the Tom Cruise air guitar scene from the film Risky Business in the commercial, which has proved an internet hit.

Appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres talk show, German-born Klum said: "The problem is head banging, right. I felt like someone hit me in the car. I had backlash."

After Ellen corrected her by suggesting she meant whiplash, Heidi added: "The next day I couldn't move anything. Then I had like a rug burn, for the wrong reasons, because I had to jump off the table and land on my knees with the guitar.

"It literally went for five hours straight, but it was fun."

Just like Cruise in Risky Business, Klum starts off in a white shirt and socks but then peels off the shitr to reveal black underwear.

The Victoria's Secret model, who is married to the singer Seal, appears in the advert for new video game Guitar Hero: World Tour.

The director's cut has received more than 1.5 million views on YouTube.
