Paquin has managed to make the transition from child star to hot vamp very gracefully, but it’s not all thanks to her good genes. The actress, who recently got engaged to co-star Stephen Moyer, keeps in such enviable shape by constantly mixing up her routine so that she never gets bored with it and she’s working different muscles at all times. “I’m obsessed with Pilates,” the actress tells the mag, while revealing she hates having to do just this routine for her fitness.
Paquin also loves to swim in the ocean as a means of staying active, and she has started taking surf lessons just recently. However, her exercise routine does not stop here, since she’s always careful to move around as much as possible, even when she’s not working out. Moreover, Anna is an avid watcher of gymnastics on TV and has even tried the trapeze on her own. “I’ve always wanted to be a circus performer, so I took aerial silks classes at Trapeze School New York a few years ago.” the actress says for the aforementioned publication. She wouldn’t share, though, if she still practices it to stay in shape.
As for her diet, Paquin explains that she tries to steer clear of unhealthy foods and unhealthy habits in general. She hates diets and couldn’t stand being on one with all the restrictions, but she generally does not like foods that she knows are bad for her. Another important thing for the actress is the amount of rest she gets, so she naps a lot in order to have the energy to make it through the day. “Kombucha and coffee are my two biggest vices.” the 27-year-old actress admits.
With such a strong will and so little vices to deal with, not to mention Paquin’s willingness to show her body for the camera if really necessary, perhaps it’s really no wonder “True Blood” is pulling 5+ million viewers each week.
