Alicia Silverstone Bring Girl-Power Twist to 'Vamps'

While the rumors of a Clueless sequel have yet to come to fruition, writer-director Amy Heckerling is re-teaming with star Alicia Silverstone for a new heroine-driven feature, Vamps.

Working together for the first time since their 1995 cult-classic, the new film taps into a popular pop culture phenomenon: those pesky sexy vampires. But this time, with a twist: the ladies are the irresistible, cursed immortals who question their commitment to an eternal life of feeding on blood after one Vampirella falls in love with mere mortal.
